This statistical report provides an overview of the current status of the attainment/achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) data for Jamaica. In 2015, United Nations (UN) member states agreed on 17 global goals and 169 targets that will provide the blueprint for the world’s development over the next 15 years (known as the 2030 Agenda). Broad and ambitious in scope, the Agenda addresses the three dimensions of sustainable development: social, economic and environmental, as well as important aspects related to peace, justice and effective institutions 1 . Originally, underpinning the 169 targets were 244 indicators, however due to replication under two or three different targets (see Appendix 1), the total of individual indicators are 232.
